Halal Conformity Assessment Bodies

Objective of Halal Conformity Assessment Bodies Accreditation:

The main objective of our accreditation program is to ensure that Halal Conformity Assessment Bodies (HCABs) demonstrate their ability to assess and certify compliance with Halal standards, ensuring the credibility of their certification processes and decisions. This accreditation aims to instill confidence among consumers, stakeholders, and the Islamic community in the Halal certifications granted by these bodies.

Scope of Halal Conformity Assessment Bodies Accreditation:

Our accreditation program covers a wide range of Halal conformity assessment services, including but not limited to:

  • Halal Food and Beverage Certification
  • Halal Cosmetics Certification
  • Halal Pharmaceuticals Certification
  • Halal Logistics and Services Certification

Key Components of Halal Conformity Assessment Bodies Accreditation:

  1. Application and Documentation: HCABs seeking accreditation must submit a comprehensive application, accompanied by relevant documentation, demonstrating their compliance with Halal standards and criteria.

  2. Assessment and Evaluation: IRNAC conducts thorough assessments, involving document reviews, on-site evaluations, and witnessing of certification activities, to ascertain the competence and compliance of the HCABs.

  3. Decision and Granting of Accreditation: Based on the assessment findings, an impartial and informed accreditation decision is made. HCABs that meet the requisite criteria are granted accreditation, validating their competence and integrity in providing Halal certification services.

  4. Surveillance and Re-accreditation: To ensure continued compliance and excellence, IRNAC performs regular surveillance of accredited HCABs and conducts re-accreditation assessments at specified intervals.

  5. Handling of Complaints and Appeals: A transparent and impartial process is in place to address and resolve any complaints and appeals related to the accreditation activities, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and trust.

Benefits of Halal Conformity Assessment Bodies Accreditation:

  • Enhanced Credibility: Accreditation by IRNAC enhances the credibility and recognition of HCABs, fostering confidence among consumers, stakeholders, and the Islamic community.
  • Market Access: Accredited HCABs enjoy increased market access and acceptance, facilitating business growth and competitiveness in the Halal market.
  • Continual Improvement: The accreditation process encourages HCABs to continually enhance their services, processes, and overall performance, contributing to the elevation of Halal standards.

IRNAC’s Halal Conformity Assessment Bodies Accreditation program is a testament to our unwavering commitment to promoting excellence, reliability, and integrity in the field of Halal certification.

By accrediting HCABs that adhere to the highest standards of competence and compliance, we aim to foster trust and confidence in Halal certification services, benefiting consumers, industries, and the Islamic community at large.

Our rigorous and transparent accreditation process not only validates the credibility of HCABs but also encourages continual improvement and innovation in Halal certification practices.
